SCUBA DIVING

Grottoes with turquoise water, sheer, cliff faces, wrecks of British minesweepers, small reefs alive with fish. The rocky west coast of Corfu and neighbouring Paxoi are ideal for diving.
A number of schools organise trips (with picnic lunch) to deserted coves accessible only from the sea. A 5-days course of lessons costs about 290 euros and each of the day's dive about 40 euros (the prices varies depending on whether you have your own equipment).
