Messonghi is a relatively unspoilt, small and uncomplicated resort running parallel to the sea for about
a mile, and separated from its close neighbour Moraitika by the Messonghi River. The former fishing village of Messonghi Village located on the south-east coast of Corfu, 14 miles south of the capital, Corfu Town (Kerkyra) and the airport.
