Sidari is one of the fastest growing resorts in Corfu. In reality it is two villages, joined by a long beach, which have merged into one, running for two kilometres along the north coast of the island. It is 37 kilometres (23 miles) from the airport and ferry port in Corfu Town. Sidari is popular with couples and families and has a wide variety of entertainment to suit all ages and interests. There are numerous bars and British-style pubs offering draught beer, cocktails, music videos and karaoke nights. There are also several nightclubs. If you are eating out there is something for everyone, ranging from family-run traditional Greek tavernas (some with live Greek music, dancing, and plate smashing), British-style pubs serving pub grub and all-day English breakfast, plus a couple of Chinese, an Indian, and several pizzerias.

Sidari looks out onto the open sea with the five tiny Diapontian islands to the north-west of Corfu . There are three beaches - the main beach, which has a Blue Flag for cleanliness, curves gently around a long sweeping bay and offers golden sand and warm, shallow water. There are sun beds and umbrellas for hire, watersports facilities including banana boats, pedaloes, canoes, water-skiing and wind surfing, plus a bouncy castle. Close by is the famous Sidari Canal d'Amour (Channel of Love) which is composed of soft, sandstone cliffs, which have been eroded to produce extraordinary rock formations. Local myth claims that if a couple swims through the main channel together their love will be never-ending. As well as beaches, Sidari is home to the Corfu Diving Fun Club, which has a dive shop in the centre of town and offers scuba diving lessons and diving trips. Other local amusements include bowling and a go-cart track.

Shops in Sidari include several supermarkets catering for everyday necessities, a number of clothes shops and jewellers, plus souvenir shops selling postcards, beachwear and T-shirts. If you want to venture further afield then we can arrange car, quad bike or bicycle hire. There is a regular bus service to and from Corfu Town (Kerkyra) throughout the day and taxis are easy to find. Daily boat trips take visitors to unspoilt beaches on the tiny Diapontian Ionianislands of Erikoussa, Othoni and Mathraki. Alternatively, you can take a day trip by boat to Albania to visit Butrint National Park with its UNESCO-protected Greek and Roman archaeological site, and the seaside resort of Agioi Saranda.
