Re: great choice in Paleokastritsa Corfu

Very conveniently located (for all beaches around Paleokastritsa as well as Corfu town), clean, airy, with views
to the sea, reasonably priced and tastefully renovated with an artistic touch. The room we stayed in was one of the standard doubles on the third floor. It was very quiet but the bathroom was rather small. There are other room choices though, you can see them at their site, www.zefiros-hotel-corfu.com. A very pleasant stay and value for money, especially after our experience at Bella Vista at Benitses. Only remember to bring a mosquito repellent

Zefiros hotel is situated a few yards from the beach in Paleokastritsa - itself the most perfect place to stay on Corfu. We could both hear and see the sea from our room. The hotel is quite small, and is quiet and well run. It has its own cafe. The rooms are small, but have air conditioning, a fridge, tv and kettle. Bathrooms are rather cramped. For anyone with mobility difficulties, the absence of a lift and the need to negotiate fifty-seven steps, if you are staying on the third floor, would be a consideration to bear in mind. The hotel offers good value for money.

One of the prettiest and most peaceful resorts on the rather tourist-overrun island of Corfu is Paleokastritsa, on the west coast of the island , set among green woodlands and olive groves. A hilltop medieval castle and a 13th century monastery add to the atmosphere, and sunlovers are treated to sandy beaches in six scenic coves..
