My family spent 2 weeks here in August we were very happy with the appartment but unhappy with the travel company Direct Holidays. We had paid for an appartment to sleep 2 adults and 3 children and paid full price for all of the children, when we arrived at the appartments we found that maximum occupancy was 4 and one of the children was required to sleep on  z bed. There were only 4 chairs, bowls cups etc, all of which was immediately rectified by the lovely owner of Frosini Gardens appartments. The travel company were unconcerned and belived we had been catered for. I found it unacceptable to have 5 in an appartment for 4 at full price and believe we should have been given a reduction for one of the children. The Frosini Gardens appartments were clean and well kept staff excellent and friendly and the pool great although it did turn white bathing costumes green

Situated just a few minutes walk away from the centre of Kassiopi and harbour these apartments have a great location. Of good size with modern facilities, they are well maintained with maid service daily. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The best selling point has to be the large swimming pool and surrounding garden area, which during our visit was a real haven of tranquility. The only downside was having to pay a 2 euro daily sunbed charge but you can't have everything. Well recommended!

Our stay in the Frosini Gardens got off to a bad start when we arrived and were asked what we were doing there by the owner, we explained we were not with a coach as we booked our holiday independently, he said you'll have to wait there (gesturing at seats) because there are no rooms ready yet. (we arrived at 12 midday) While we waited for our room we decided to look around the pool, it was a good size but we were disappointed in the state of the surrounding paved area, there were bricks missing which left big dips that you could easily stumble on. There was a lady guest there who got glass in her foot, her husband spent ages tweezering it out. We finally got to our room and it was quite nicely decorated but we weren't impressed with the level of cleanliness, dust and dirt in the corners of the floor, other people's hair, dirty cooking utensils put back in drawer. We also were not impressed by the traffic noise, the website made no mention of the fact that you are ten feet from the busy main road, all night long there were vehicles roaring up the street, tooting horns etc. It would have been nice to have been made aware of this. In our party we had my 11 month old daughter, we were provided a cot for her but it was very unstable and wobbly, being the age she is she is inclined to stand up in her cot so I asked the owners for it to be replaced, they said that they would be able to get a different one the next day and could we just make do for the night, I agreedto s and secured the cot by wedging suitcases down the side of it. The next day came and went, and the next and so on, and no cot appeared, they said nothing to me about replacing it. They did not appear helpful, friendly or approachable and were often not around so we weren't able to ask again, I don't think you should have to keep asking anyway. In the end we moved from there to a much nicer place for the remainding 2 weeks of our holiday. It seemed that everything was too much trouble for these people, it became clear how they were when they completely ignored us on our way out one day, we have never experienced this rudeness in other places in Corfu before. Also we were very disappointed in the charges for hiring sun loungers (2 euros per day) and the fact you are not allowed food around the pool unless you buy it from them.
