The holiday resort of Ipsos in Corfu is nearly a mile in length, with most of the action facing the beach. There are traditional Greek tavernas and restaurants plus Italian and Chinese restaurants, cocktail bars, discos and English pubs lining the boardwalk. Ipsos has a long shingled beach, which gently curves round to a tiny harbour. Mid-way between the resort and the harbour there is a jetty where boat excursions are available. These include trips up the coast to the resort of Kassiopi where you can buy hand-made lace items. Ipsos also offers water-skiing, paragliding, wind-surfing, pedalo hire and scuba diving.
