This was our 8th time at
Three Brothers hotel. Sidari resort has something for everyone and over the years have gradually seen
the town improved dramatically. The locals are very friendly if you take the time to talk to them. They have very "warm" personalities. We have made many friends over the years. The
Hotel Three Brothers is probably the best hotel in Corfu, with its 42 rooms, maximum cleanliness, good food served personally by happy, singing waiters and waitresses must beat all the large buffet style hotels on Corfu. The staff are funny, warm, happy and attentive at all times but you do need a sense of humour too! Laki, the hotel owner is always there to take your order personally at dinner, and makes sure everything runs smoothly.
Receptionists are both English and great too. The oldest hotel in
Sidari and it certainly deserves its "Gold Medals" every year. Although the front of the hotel is in the busy main street, once you are through the doors it is like being in another world, through reception, to the bar, into the beautiful terrace restaurant which now has a sliding roof that can be completely opened on warm evenings, through to the pretty garden and pool which backs on to
Sidari's vast sandy beach and the sea.
The beach is very flat and safe and you can walk for about 50 metres and water still only up to yur waistline. There is a typically
Corfu jetty with local boats which is very scenic if you take the trouble to look around you. Plenty of friendly beach bars all along the beach (Who needs the Caribbean) we will deifintely return again. The High Street contains many bars, shops and tavernas, but if you want a real local bar try Diverso Bar which is owned by 2 (Corfoit) brothers, friendly local staff and attracts the locals, to listen to music, watch sport on TV, Internet section and large screen. Go Greek, eat Greek, try to speak a little Greek and you will find you make friends with the locals with ease and they will always remember you when you return. Hire a Jeep and visit the mountain local villages and see the true beauty of Corfu. We love it so much we may even go and live there eventually!!!!!
